Andrew Farncomb, Principal
A founder of Cairn Merchant Partners, Andrew has extensive experience advising public and private companies in M&A and financing transactions in the consumer products, industrial, media natural resources, and technology sectors.
Prior to forming Cairn, Andrew was a Partner at Paradigm Capital, a Canadian investment bank focused on small- to medium-sized companies. During his tenure as an Investment Banking professional, he was involved in a number of successful M&A, financing (equity, debt and project finance) and restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Paradigm Capital, Andrew held a business development role at a consumer goods company in Hong Kong.
Andrew is a member of the Board of Directors of several TSX Venture Exchange listed and private companies. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and chairs the Investment Committee at the Flavelle Foundation. Andrew graduated from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and received the Merrill Lynch Scholarship.
