2024 SUMMER INTERN

Cairn is seeking to hire a Summer Intern who has an interest in gaining experience for a career in investment banking, private equity or asset management.

The Summer Intern will be responsible for conducting a broad range of financial analysis, research, presentation preparation and investment portfolio management support. The Summer Intern will work closely with the firm’s Principals in conducting financial analysis and creating presentations associated with M&A and strategic alternatives advisory mandates. The Summer Intern will also participate in the entire private equity investment process, from due-diligence and investment analysis through to deal structuring and post-investment portfolio management. Over the course of the work term, it is expected the Summer Intern’s will be approximately evenly split between the Company’s Principal Investing and Advisory businesses.

The Summer Intern is a key player in assisting in Cairn’s growth. The Summer Intern will report to Cairn’s Associate and Principals.

As a member of a small team, this is a unique opportunity for the Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience in private equity and investment banking activities to build upon in future internships or in a full-time role. Our Summer Interns have gone on to roles at CPP Investments, RBC Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets.
