Dan LaForest, Principal
A founder of Cairn Merchant Partners, Dan has extensive experience in private equity, investment banking and corporate finance. Prior to Cairn, Dan held positions at Evercore, RBC Capital Markets and KPMG, primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Dan is actively involved with all of Cairn’s portfolio companies and is a Director of Sagecare, Integracare, and Excellence RSR. Dan has also served as an advisory board member for several Canadian private companies in the past.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. Dan lives in Toronto with his wife and three children.
